MBE/WBE/DBE Certification in Illinois, Tips and Advice
Monday, June 22, 2026 (12:00 PM - 1:30 PM) (CDT)
Description
Join Channing Blair Hesse, of Grogan, Hesse, and Uditsky for a Professional Development course covering WBE/MBE/DBE Certifications - Tips and Advice on Certification. This 90 minute session will educate attendees on the foundations of Certification by the various agencies (state, city, county, federal) for Women-owned Business, Minority-owned Business, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise.
Navigating the complex systems of certification can be confusing and overwhelming. With a slideshow presentation and time for questions, Channing will help attendees gain an understanding of the several certifying agencies, the timing and process of certification, and how changes in the law of DEI affects federally funded agencies. Attendees will leave the session with practical tips on what is needed to get certified and where to get help along the way.
Attend this course if you are interested in getting certified as a Women-owned Business, Minority-owned Business, or Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (with all transportation agencies: IDOT, Pace, CTA).
Lunch will be provided.
This is a PWC Member-Only event- it's easy to join today!
Registration closes on 6/15 or when capacity is reached.
