Description

Join Carie Carney, PE, CCM, LEED AP for this hybrid course on Construction Scheduling, in general, a part of the PWC Chicago Professional Development Industry in Focus series. This course will teach you how to think about developing a construction schedule, the mechanics of creating a schedule, and the definition of scheduling terms. 

Carie will lead this 90-minute session with a slideshow presentation, take live notes on a whiteboard, and allow for participant questions & answers. After this course you will know the important pieces of a construction schedule, how it is developed & updated, and how it can be used to your advantage. 

This course will cover: 

• What a schedule means in relation to the project
• The process of creating a schedule
• Definition of key terms
• How to use the schedule, and how it can be used against you

Those new to the construction industry, or needing a deeper understanding of construction scheduling from the contractor or ownership perspective are encouraged to attend. This event is for PWC Chicago Members only, and attendees must be registered in order to participate.

About the Facilitator

Carie Carney, PE, CCM, LEED AP (PWC Chicago Member) has 40+ years of experience in commercial project management.  Her first job in Chicagoland was Scheduling Manager for the International Terminal Project at O’Hare. She regularly teaches scheduling classes for various industry audiences.
