As a licensed Professional Engineer specializing in Electrical Engineering with over 17 years working in built environments, Sheetal Roy is an Associate Partner at Syska Hennessy Group. She is a key member of the leadership team at Syska’s Chicago location and is responsible for client development, business planning, project management and mentorship to ensure the overall success and continued growth for Syska.
Sheetal has managed and designed a variety of projects over the course of her career to include multifamily, commercial, mixed-use, ground-ups, healthcare, industrial, high-rise, institutional, healthcare, laboratories and critical facilities. As she moved through her career, she found her strength and passion in managing projects and mentoring team members. Her high attention to detail and constant communication keeps her teams and projects on track leading to continued success with a variety of clients.
Sheetal has also been an integral member for Syska’s SHAPE initiative as providing equal opportunity to minority groups as been an important and personal mission for her. SHAPE (Syska Hennessy Advocating for Professional Equity) is an employee resource group dedicated to promoting and fostering a collaborative work culture. Sheetal is excited to see how the construction industry is going to evolve with changing technology and innovation. She is ready to continue to grow her team through mentorship while also learning new skills along the way. Outside of work, Sheetal loves to travel and find new experiences big or small. Her pride and joy are her two little boys who continue to surprise her each day.
