RACHEL JACKSON

Associate Principal / Thornton Tomasetti

Rachel Jackson is an Associate Principal at Thornton Tomasetti's Chicago office and has almost 20 years of experience with a career portfolio that primarily features new design projects, plus and adaptive reuse projects, investigation and repairs, and damage assessment following natural disasters. Her recent projects include the University of Chicago Medicine's Cancer Center, DePaul University's new basketball practice facility, The Dylan Apartments at 160 N Morgan, and two new pavilions at the Shedd Aquarium.

Rachel is a collaborative leader, mentor, and is passionate about finding simple, constructible solutions for design challenges. At Thornton Tomasetti, Rachel has managed recruiting efforts for the Chicago office, is active in the Women at TT program, and serves as a coach in firmwide training programs for younger staff. She has been a member of the Professional Women in Construction since 2021 and recently joined the Membership Committee at PWC.
