Share why you chose to be a Member of PWC Chicago: "I chose to become a member of this organization because I wanted to be part of a community created by women, for women. I'm seeking mentorship from senior women who have successfully navigated the industry and can offer valuable tips for achieving success."

Which PWC Events do you enjoy attending? "I enjoy attending informal gatherings where I can mingle and network. These events help me grow my connections while also having fun."

Tell us about when or how you became interested in a career in the AEC industry: "My dad is an epoxy flooring contractor, so I grew up visiting job sites and helping him. However, I knew I wanted to focus on the design aspect rather than the labor. I've always enjoyed math, problem-solving, and working with my hands, which made mechanical engineering the perfect fit for me."

What advice do you have for other women in the industry? "As women, we are often raised to be gentle and humble. From a young age, confidence can be misinterpreted as bossiness rather than leadership potential. My advice is to stop qualifying your expert opinions with phrases like "I think" or "It may be best to..." Instead, state your thoughts clearly and project confidence in your expertise."
