KASIE MATHENA

Vice President / AECOM - Hunt

With 22 years in the construction industry, Kasie Mathena is a Chicago-based Vice President at AECOM Hunt Construction who serves as the Chicago Region General Manager. She is a member of the Hunt Central Region Executive Leadership Team, Regional Risk Committee, and Co-Chair of the Quality Control Committee.  

Through the course of her career, she has worn many hats and has grown through the operational construction ranks closely leading and managing a wide range of successful projects in the sectors of ground up / renovation healthcare, high-rise / mid-rise, higher education institutional, student housing, multifamily, hospitality, public sector, sports, and science labs.  Kasie is adept in P3, Design-Build, Design-Bid-Build, CM at Risk, and Owner Representative/Agency deliveries. Kasie prides herself on being well-rounded in all facets of construction and excels in project planning / execution. 

As she embarks on the second half of her career, she is particularly inspired and motivated by using her expertise to support, mentor, and advocate for others. She is a founding board member of the Chicago Chapter of Professional Women in Construction spearheading the start of the PWC Mentorship Committee along with Shay Cullen.  She currently serves as Vice President. 

Kasie is a degreed engineer and holds an MBA with emphasis on Entrepreneurship.
