Alli Mallory is a Higher Education Sector Leader and Senior Project Manager with HED. She is a licensed Architect with 15 years’ experience. She leads and works collaboratively with all team members through each phase of the design and construction process. Her experience is all encompassing, allowing her to understand the challenges of multidisciplinary teams, bring simplicity and efficiency to the project, and guide the project through the technical and creative aspects. Driven by a deep commitment to her clients, Alli has developed close relationships that help create a highly successful and collaborative environment with multiple stakeholders, leading large consultant teams and managing highly specialized programs to bring complex project visions to life. Over the course of her career, she has worked on several project types, with a focus on higher education and housing.

 

Alli is an advocate for advancing sustainable design and innovative learning. Some of her most recent project work reflective of these ideologies include the LEED Gold certified Mechanical Engineering Building Addition and Renovation and LEED Gold certified Chemistry Annex Addition and Renovation at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and multiple laboratory renovations for Northwestern University. Other active work includes multiple programming efforts with the University of Tennessee system.

 

Originally from St. Louis, MO, Alli has lived in the Chicago area since 2008. She is an avid runner who loves to cook and has two boys (3.5 years and 9 months) that keep her active outside of work.
