Abigail (Abby) Niedert, PE is a Director at Vertex specializing in investigation and resolution of disputes, primarily related to the construction industry. Abby also provides project monitoring and analysis services related to on-going construction projects. She has worked with owners, general contractors, subcontractors, insurance companies, engineers, architects, and utilities. Abby has significant experience helping her clients quantify schedule delays and cost overruns related to differing site conditions, non-conforming work, procurement delays, late and incomplete design, force majeure events, labor inefficiencies, labor and material escalation, and more. She is committed to providing value to her clients and has assisted in the preparation of several expert and rebuttal reports, and has provided support during mediations, depositions, arbitrations, and trials. 

Abby enjoys working on a wide variety of construction projects including wind farms, commercial buildings, residential buildings, hotels, transportation centers, power plants, academic buildings, and more, each with its own set of unique issues. She is committed to ensuring that those she works with have the tools and support to grow their careers by being actively involved in training and mentoring.

Abby has been involved in PWC as a member of the Programs Committee for two years and enjoys getting to know and learn from other women in the construction industry.
