The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, passionate in construction and construction management, highly communicative, emotionally intelligent, detail oriented, confident in decision making, highly organized and looking for an extremely special place to work. Internally, we back stop and support our team, externally, with clients, subcontractors and suppliers, we simplify complicated tasks, coordinate and educate our teams, and support the streamlined execution of multiple project types. Our need crosses many project types. We are working on tenant improvements, ground-up wood framed hotels and supportive living facilities, luxury hotel renovations, luxury retail, standard retail, industrial repositioning and renovation projects, corridor renovations, school renovations - we are a true generalist.

Monoceros is involved from all aspects of the construction and real estate business. We are engaged in some projects in the pre-planning and pre-construction process, some projects after the work is completed when clients need assistance with lingering issues, we work with consultants to solve problems and are personally onsite to receive deliveries, run to Home Depot for missing screws. When we say we are full service, we truly are full service. Some projects are overnight, we are there, making sure the security guards are doing their part, sweeping the floor to keep the finish carpenters and painters doing what they do best.

• Consistent communication with all stakeholders
• Coach and support project team
• Work from home, onsite, and corporate office - flexibility is a must

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Strong business acumen in project planning and management
• Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills
