PWC Chicago, in partnership with Chicago Women in Trades, is hosting a Meet the Tradeswomen speed networking event on June 17 at CWIT’s Pilsen location. This event is designed to connect general contractors and specialty subcontractors with women carpenters and laborers who are interested in entering or advancing within the construction industry.
Hiring representatives from general contractors and specialty subcontractors which have real opportunities for hiring are invited to this structured, speed-networking session where they will meet with qualified CWIT graduates looking for work. Companies and individuals will have multiple meaningful introductions.
CWIT prides itself on excellent pre-apprenticeship training, preparing women to enter the building trades, and supporting union established tradeswomen in their careers and skill development. CWIT works with qualified union tradespeople with a wide range of experience and specialties and continually connects graduates of pre- apprenticeship classes with sponsorship opportunities to begin their careers in the construction industry.

Thank you in advance for your support in creating more accessible pathways into the trades. We’re excited about the opportunity to connect our members with the next generation of skilled tradeswomen.
