Description
From Blueprint to Community: Chicago’s Megaproject Reckoning
Join PWC Chicago at the 2026 Fall Panel where a dynamic panel of industry leaders turns the lens from the announcement to the aftermath of Megaprojects in Chicago, exploring what these projects actually mean for the construction and design industry building them, and for the neighborhoods absorbing them.
Chicago is in the middle of a generational building moment. Megaprojects are reshaping the skyline, the lakefront, and entire neighborhoods. The headlines tend to focus on the announcements- the renderings, the price tags, the ribbon cuttings. But what happens after the press conference ends?
To tell that story honestly, this panel brings together the people who shape a megaproject at different stages and represent diverse perspectives of success. Delivering a megaproject depends on a complex web of legal agreements, approvals, and risks. The individual Panelists’ experiences exhibit a deep dive into how these factors compete and complement to produce a successful and impactful Megaproject.
Join us for an up-close conversation about who builds Chicago's future, who benefits from it, and what the industry owes the communities in which we work.
