About

Karie joined the Huntsman Architectural Group in 2004 and after taking a break to start a family, she roared back into practice, co-founded the Chicago office in 2016, and has collaborated with a variety clients on workplace and building repositioning projects. Her journey to becoming an interior designer began at childhood where she created early sketches and floor plans on her Etch-a-Sketch. In her spare time, Karie enjoys spending time with her family while taking advantage of all the Midwest seasons whether snowboarding in the winter, boating and swimming in Lake Michigan in the summer, or hiking and camping in the fall and spring.
