DESCRIPTION:PWC Chicago Members are invited to attend Confidence & Connecting\, a 3-hour intensive providing executive leadership training for mid-level & senior managers to openly discuss how to build on their skills and overcome what might be holding them back from developing deeper relationships. This interactive workshop will provide leaders with practical outreach skills and tools to foster stronger relationships with existing contacts and build new relationships with colleagues\, including consultants\, vendors\, and existing clients. Throughout the session\, participants will engage in highly interactive conversation\, role-playing\, and receive ongoing feedback. Participants will be assigned a relevant book to read prior to the workshop.The course will cover: Honing outreach and relationship-building skills to connect with new contactsCreating a process that includes accountability and disciplineStriking a time/attention balance between being on a job site\, managing projects and client relationships\, and actively pursuing building a business networkImplementing effective follow-through\, including prioritizing when and how to reconnect\, as well as planning for a long-term effortIncreasing the ROI of involvement by choosing the right professional associations\, philanthropic\, and lifestyle activities Deciding which social media tools to use and how often to use themTracking and measuring resultsMid-Level and Senior Managers are encouraged to attend.
