PWC Chicago Members are invited to attend Confidence & Connecting, a 3-hour intensive providing executive leadership training for mid-level & senior managers to openly discuss how to build on their skills and overcome what might be holding them back from developing deeper relationships. 

This interactive workshop will provide leaders with practical outreach skills and tools to foster stronger relationships with existing contacts and build new relationships with colleagues, including consultants, vendors, and existing clients. Throughout the session, participants will engage in highly interactive conversation, role-playing, and receive ongoing feedback. Participants will be assigned a relevant book to read prior to the workshop.

The course will cover: 

  • Honing outreach and relationship-building skills to connect with new contacts
  • Creating a process that includes accountability and discipline
  • Striking a time/attention balance between being on a job site, managing projects and client relationships, and actively pursuing building a business network
  • Implementing effective follow-through, including prioritizing when and how to reconnect, as well as planning for a long-term effort
  • Increasing the ROI of involvement by choosing the right professional associations, philanthropic, and lifestyle activities 
  • Deciding which social media tools to use and how often to use them
  • Tracking and measuring results

Mid-Level and Senior Managers are encouraged to attend. This event is for PWC Chicago Members only, and attendees must be registered in order to participate.

About the Facilitator 


As a principal of two built-environment firms and now an adjunct faculty member at Northwestern University and owner of her own business, Jackie Loewe has great empathy for those who are curious and value establishing relationship building and outreach into their daily work life. Jackie has spent the last 30 years teaching and training built-environment professionals how to enhance their relationship building and connecting skills, ensuring successful and more gratifying careers.
